Pick fresh strawberries at our farm.

Our strawberry field is now closed.

The crop was much earlier than usual due to our warming climate. This is also our last strawberry crop due to the many challenges we have faced in growing quality berries in recent years. It is time to move on to other endeavors. We have enjoyed producing this wonderful fruit for almost 30 years and would like to thank all of the people who have made picking strawberries at our farm a part of summer.

Our farming activities will continue with our full efforts now being concentrated on our lowbush blueberries.

Join the many families from near and far who visit our strawberry fields every year to pick their own fresh delicious berries. Most come for the special flavour of our Veestar strawberries. Cool northern evenings enhance the naturally sweet, luscious flavour of this variety. Strawberry picking is a summer activity people of all ages can enjoy in the quiet beauty of our natural surroundings. Straw covered rows and pathways keep both berries and pickers clean. Fruit is plentiful and baskets fill easily. Enjoy the ride on our berry wagon as you are taken to and from the field.

We recommend  that you check the local weather forecast before heading to the farm as dry conditions are best for berry picking.
